Water Fountains – The fountains and tap water in the Old Town are both clean, refreshing water so it’s a great place to fill up your water bottles.

Currency – The EURO is the local currency as of January 2023 There are many currency exchange places around or you can also go to the banks (take your passport).  If you have Kuna, bring it and they will exchange for Euro's.

Service – Croatians take their time - sit back, relax and enjoy your meal. The service is not like other popular European cities or North America. Restaurants will generally take longer than you expect so it’s best to order right away and to ask for the check before you are ready to go.  Also, tipping is about 10%
